Taupe Crinkle Knit Polyester Top with Antique Lace Trim – XL
 
This beautiful top was created from the fabric of an evening gown and jacket that I made and wore until I’d had my fill (or outgrew them!). The fabric is so lovely and unique that I couldn’t resist adding it to my Taupe Up-Cycle Bin for a new life. I added antique lace doilies to the flared sleeves and vintage abalone buttons, giving this top a timeless, delicate touch.
The back of the garment is hand-hemmed, while the front and side godet edges are left with raw cuts—ideal for this crinkle knit fabric. The empire curved seamline under the bust and the full back design make this piece incredibly flattering and adaptable to many sizes. The 13" side godets at the hemline add a lovely 'swing' to the garment, making it perfect for dancing or simply moving with ease.

RECOMMENDED CARE:  I recommend hand washing - mainly due to the abalone antique buttons - so that they don't crack.  Line Dry.
